Scenarios and applications

When a project needs different capabilities, we make them work together.

These scenarios show how different activities of VIVALDI18 STUDIO can combine around a concrete objective.

The examples are illustrative and do not represent clients, engagements or results already delivered by the Studio.

Eight illustrative scenarios

Each scenario starts from a situation, indicates the activities that could come into play, a possible development and what the path could produce.

Scenario 01Public authority

A municipality wants to bring a space back into use and find the resources to do it

An unused building could once again be useful to the community, but a shared purpose and financial coverage are missing.

How it could unfold

  1. Mapping the objective and possible uses of the space
  2. Mapping the funding lines potentially compatible with it
  3. Setting up the project with accessibility requirements from the start
  4. Building the public narrative of the intervention

Possible outputs

  • An overview of relevant funding opportunities
  • A coherent, submittable project framework
  • Institutional communication materials

Scenario 02SME

An SME wants to invest in innovation and digitalisation

The company has an idea for technological development, but does not know which support instruments exist or how to organise the investment.

How it could unfold

  1. Analysis of the industrial objective and the processes involved
  2. Checking compatibility with available schemes and calls
  3. Assessing the impact on personal data and related obligations

Possible outputs

  • A technical description of the project usable in an application
  • A map of the processes affected by the intervention
  • A list of the privacy obligations to be monitored

Scenario 03Third sector

A non-profit wants to build and fund a new social project

The organisation has identified a need in its community and wants to turn it into a structured, sustainable project.

How it could unfold

  1. Defining the need, the target audience and measurable objectives
  2. Building the partnership and the activity plan
  3. Identifying consistent funding channels
  4. Setting up the impact monitoring system

Possible outputs

  • A complete project application
  • An impact monitoring and reporting plan
  • Accessible communication tools for the target audience

Scenario 04Foundation or cultural organisation

A cultural organisation wants to make a service more accessible

The audience reached is smaller than its potential, and some barriers, physical or digital, remain invisible to the organisation.

How it could unfold

  1. Analysing the user's actual journey, from first contact to use
  2. Checking digital and cognitive barriers
  3. Redesigning critical points and messages

Possible outputs

  • A map of the service's points of friction
  • A prioritised list of corrective actions
  • Content and interfaces rewritten in a clearer form

Scenario 05Startup

A startup needs to turn an idea into a sustainable project

The insight is clear, but the structure that would make it understandable to investors, evaluators and early users is missing.

How it could unfold

  1. Focusing on the problem solved and the value for the user
  2. Structuring the development plan and the resources needed
  3. Checking support instruments compatible with the company's stage
  4. Building in compliance from the design stage

Possible outputs

  • A project document usable in several contexts
  • An initial hypothesis for a funding path
  • The basics of compliance on data and processing

Scenario 06Structured organisation

An organisation needs to review processes, experience and communication

The service works, but it costs too much internal time, generates repeated requests and is described unclearly.

How it could unfold

  1. Reconstructing operational flows and points of duplication
  2. Observing the actual experience of those using the service
  3. Realigning what the organisation does with what it communicates

Possible outputs

  • A process map with the critical points highlighted
  • Proposals for operational simplification
  • A communication line consistent with actual practice

Scenario 07Organisation introducing AI systems

An organisation introduces AI systems into its processes

Some AI tools are already in use or about to be adopted, but an inventory of use cases, defined roles and criteria for deciding whether to proceed are missing.

How it could unfold

  1. Inventory of use cases, data processed and suppliers involved
  2. Defining roles, responsibilities and human oversight for each use case
  3. Checking privacy and accessibility aspects of the processes involved
  4. Assessing risks and setting GO/NO-GO criteria for adoption

Possible outputs

  • An inventory of use cases with data, suppliers and responsibilities
  • Documented GO/NO-GO criteria and a risk assessment
  • A governance and monitoring plan with declared human oversight

Scenario 08Individual, family or caregiver

A family needs to follow an administrative and digital procedure

A person must submit an application and access an online service, but the steps are unclear, documents are scattered and deadlines are approaching.

How it could unfold

  1. Reading the communications received and working out what is actually needed
  2. Defining the engagement and the mandate, with the limits of the assistance stated in writing
  3. Gathering and organising documents, assisted completion and submission
  4. Monitoring the status of the procedure and reminders of deadlines

Possible outputs

  • A clear list of the documents and steps required
  • The application submitted, with a written record of what was done
  • A reminder of upcoming deadlines
